Endpoint Security
Layered protection for every laptop, desktop, server and mobile device your staff rely on. Our Endpoint Security protects the devices where your people work, combining next-generation antivirus, endpoint detection and response, device encryption, application control and secure configuration. We manage the tools, keep policies current and act on alerts so a single infected device does not become an organization-wide incident.
Every laptop, desktop and server is a door into your organization. Endpoints are where users open attachments, browse the web, plug in USB drives and enter passwords, so they are where attackers try to gain a foothold. Our Endpoint Security applies multiple layers of protection so that if one fails, another is waiting. We deploy and manage modern protection tools rather than relying on the free antivirus that came with a device years ago.
The foundation is a secure configuration. We apply hardened settings based on CIS Benchmarks, remove local administrator rights from everyday accounts, enable full-disk encryption and enforce screen locks and firewall settings. Application control and attack surface reduction rules block common malicious behaviour, such as Office documents launching scripts. Endpoint detection and response tools record activity on each device, allowing suspicious behaviour to be investigated and stopped rather than only known malware.
Mobile devices and remote workers are included. Through Microsoft Intune or a similar platform, we enrol company and personal devices with appropriate policies, so business data can be protected or wiped without touching personal photos. Lost or stolen laptops are a frequent source of privacy breaches, and encryption combined with remote management makes those events far less serious. Device health is monitored continuously, and non-compliant devices can be blocked from accessing company data.

How it works
Inventory
We identify every device that accesses company data, including laptops, servers and phones.
Harden
We apply secure configuration, encryption and protection tools, testing to avoid disrupting work.
Monitor
We watch device health and security alerts, investigating and containing threats.
Maintain
We keep policies and tools current and adjust them as your devices and threats change.
Who it is for
Endpoint Security suits any organization whose staff use laptops, desktops or phones to access business data, which is nearly every organization. It is particularly important for teams with remote or mobile workers, clinics and firms that store personal or health information on devices, and businesses whose cyber insurer asks about endpoint detection and response, encryption and administrative privileges.
Questions we hear
Is built-in Windows security enough?
Microsoft Defender has become a capable product, and in many environments it forms part of our endpoint stack. The difference is in configuration and management. Built-in tools left on default settings, with nobody watching alerts, provide limited protection. HSM IT Services configures advanced features, centralizes management and ensures alerts are reviewed and acted on.
Why remove local administrator rights?
Administrator rights let a user, or any malware they run, install software, change security settings and disable protection. Removing those rights from everyday accounts blocks a large share of common attacks. When staff genuinely need to install something, we provide a controlled process so work is not held up unnecessarily.
Can you manage personal phones without seeing personal data?
Yes. For personally owned phones, we use app-level management that protects company apps and data, such as Outlook and Teams, without access to personal photos, messages or apps. If the person leaves or loses the device, we remove only company data. Company-owned devices can be managed more fully.
