IT Strategy and Consulting
Clear, independent technology advice that connects IT decisions to your business goals. Our IT Strategy and Consulting helps leaders plan technology investments, evaluate systems and vendors, and manage projects such as office moves, migrations and new software rollouts. We provide practical, independent advice grounded in security, so your technology supports growth instead of holding it back.
Technology choices have long-lasting effects. Selecting a new practice management system, opening a second location, replacing aging servers or adopting a new cloud platform can improve productivity for years or create problems that are expensive to undo. Our IT Strategy and Consulting helps you make those choices with confidence. We start with your business objectives, constraints and risks, then recommend technology that fits rather than whatever is newest or most profitable for a vendor.
Typical engagements include IT assessments and roadmaps, budgeting and lifecycle planning, vendor and software selection, and project management for migrations, office moves, mergers and new site openings. We document current state, define requirements, compare options fairly and help you build a business case. During projects, we coordinate vendors, contractors and internal staff, tracking scope, schedule and risk so leadership is not left managing technical details.
Every recommendation considers security and privacy from the start. That includes data residency, vendor security practices, access controls and how a new system will handle personal or health information under PIPA or the HIA. We also consider the human layer: how staff will learn and adopt new tools, and what change management is needed. Strategy work can be a one-time engagement or an ongoing advisory relationship as your organization grows.

Questions we hear
Do you sell hardware or software as part of your recommendations?
Our recommendations are based on what fits your needs. Where we do supply hardware or software, we tell you so and explain the options, including alternatives we do not provide. Our goal is a long-term relationship, which depends on advice you can trust rather than steering you toward a particular product.
What is an IT roadmap?
An IT roadmap is a plan, usually covering several years, that sets out which technology projects and replacements will happen when, why they matter and roughly what they will require. It helps leadership budget, avoid emergency purchases and sequence work sensibly. We review it with you regularly and update it as priorities change.
Can you manage a single project without an ongoing contract?
Yes. Many consulting engagements are one-time projects, such as a server migration, a software selection or an office move. We agree on scope, deliverables and timing at the start. Some clients later choose ongoing managed or advisory services, but there is no requirement to do so.
